“Wow! What's with these two lousy reviews? My husband and I stopped here three years ago on a drive out to Chicago from Philadelphia. We saw the show on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and decided it would be a FABulous stop! ... and it was! We didn't wait too long for a table, the servers AND owner were very friendly and accommodating, and the food was reasonable and delicious. I am a v-e-r-y good cook, and I don't enjoy going out to eat all that much because I often come away thinking, I could have made it better, and it would have cost me less than half the price! I didn't feel that way when we left Lucky's. It was just good eats!!! And we loved it! I'm planning on stopping in next month, again on the way to Chicago, and I'll let you know if things have changed... I sure hope not! Why would they ruin such a good thing?”
“Sunday Brunch was Perfect” - Reviewed January 11, 2016 via mobile On a snowy Sunday, what could be better than stopping in a Lucky's for brunch?! The wonderful smells wafting through the air let me know we were in for a treat. I took our server's recommendation for corned beef hash. House-made corned beef with sweet corn and peppers topped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. My daughter had the Breakfast Burritos and was very pleased with her choice.
Obviously a local favorite, tables were filled, orders taken and food brought with fast and friendly service. Lucky's is worth searching out and I will be back for the Biscuits and Gravy!!

“Wow!! Unexpected Delight” - Lucky's Cafe is WOW!! Not what I expected. The food is fresh and full of flavor. A lot of heart goes into the meals. I had the Biscuits breakfast and my son had the Mac N Cheese. We both couldn't put our forks down until our plates were cleared. Will be back again next time I am in Cleveland. Visited January 2016.

"Michael Symon may be an Iron Chef but that doesn't mean he's immune to loving the "soul satisfying" biscuits and gravy from Lucky's Cafe. The combo has worked for years and for good reason. Guy also stopped by to sample them, in addition to Lucky's Reuben and super yummy Baked Mac-N-Cheese.”

Easily one of the most laid back brunch spots I've ever gone to. I literally have nothing negative to say about this place. The place looked busy so I was ready for what I thought would be a 30min - 1 hr. wait for a table, but we actually only waited 10 min. Our waiter (Geoffrey) was sooo kind, such a pleasure having him wait on us. The atmosphere here is really relaxed and inviting. The outdoor seating was nice, just be prepared to be disrupted by bees or wasps if you do decide to sit outside. Luckily they weren't too annoying and we were still able to enjoy our meal.
The food here is amazing - huge portions at reasonable prices. I ordered the Shipwreck and Cream of Cauliflower Soup. Let me just say that both of these dishes will automatically put you in a food coma (or actually any dish on their menu). The Shipwreck is basically a scrambled up omelette with sides of toast and fruit - definitely enjoyed this dish! The Cream of Cauliflower Soup was also enjoyable, consistency was perfect.
If I'm ever in town again, this will be my go-to brunch place. Highly recommend!
